Globe Wireless and Iridium, two global networks serving the marine industry, have teamed together by which Globe Wireless will offer Iridium's voice and data services as a Tier-One Provider. By combining the two networks Globe Wireless will be able to offer even more communication options to our customers. The alliance will also greatly enhance Iridium's global distribution and integration in the vertical solution.

The Iridium Satellite System is a provider of global, mobile satellite voice and data solutions with complete coverage of the Earth (including oceans, airways and Polar regions). Through a constellation of 66 low-earth orbiting (LEO) satellites operated by Boeing, Iridium delivers essential communications services to and from remote areas where other forms of communications are either unavailable or unreliable.
