Technical Sales Support Coordinator - Greece

The Technical Sales Support position resides in the Sales Department and is part of a Sales Team that consists of at least one Account Executive (AE), one Sales Support (SS) and one Technical Sales Support (TSS). The forming of a Sales Team is not limited to a location or time zone and is designed to ensure the best support for an assigned customer base. Due to the dynamics of the market, members of a team can be assigned to form multiple sales teams, either temporarily or permanently. 

A Sales Team is responsible for acquiring new business, as well as maintaining the existing customers within the assigned region. Team work and customer service orientation is critical to the success of any sales team. The TSS’s primary focus is on the technical aspects during the pre-sales, rollout and post-sales phases.
 

During the pre-sale phase, the TSS supports the assigned Account Executive (AE) in closing new business. The TSS ensures we understand the technical requirements of the prospect and/or customer and will liaise with the back-office teams when necessary. This ensures that what we quote and contract will meet the customer’s requirements and expectations.

In the rollout phase, the TSS becomes the project manager from a technical perspective. This includes collecting the necessary information from the customer, documenting this properly (Vessel Implementation Plan) and working with our back-office teams to ensure that Globe solutions are properly implemented.
 

During the post-sale and account management phases, the TSS plays an active role in securing continuous customer satisfaction. Another goal is to lead customers to new Globe Wireless solutions long term.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
 ·         Pro-actively support the Customer in the IT and Communications technical environment. This is mostly done from the office but at times you will visit the customer/prospect which may include international travel.

Build a consultative and long term relationship with the customer.

Be a team player within your assigned Sales Team, ensuring overall Customer satisfaction and your personal success.  As we work in a global organization and market, flexibility is paramount; backing each other up in times of sickness and vacation is vital.

·         
Collect the technical data and build the “order technical documentation” such as our Vessel Implementation Plan (VIP). Ensure this meets customers’ requirements, gets approved internally, and that the information is kept up to date.
